"I strongly do not recommend this place. Contrary to the description on Expedia, this is actually a shared house and is completely different from the photos provided. I was absolutely shocked to discover that the bathroom is shared. Furthermore, the listing claims to have a balcony/patio, but the reality is just a weed-filled patch of dirt on the ground floor. This will easily be remembered as the absolute worst accommodation I have ever experienced in all my travels."

"Location is just perfect, close to the train station, main shopping street and lake Zurich! Breakfast buffet was one of the best i've seen in Europe. For my Middle Eastern friends, you will be pleasantly surprised to find a shattaf in the toilets, thank me later 😊"

"We chose Hotel Limmathof mostly for the nearness to the train station. It's an older building so expect some stairs before approaching the elevator. That was just fine for us. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful - very much appreciated. The room was spacious enough and a floor fan was a nice touch on a humid night for sleeping. Also everything was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. It's in the city, so there is a little bit of noise from traffic at night and this should not bother most people. The price was more affordable than most surrounding hotels. I'll probably return there."

"A pretty good deal for the most expensive city in the world. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Amenities were good despite the fact that the toilets/shower was down the hall, perhaps something many Americans aren’t used to. But they were very clean and civilized. You might not want to stay here in the heat of the summer because there’s no air-conditioning, but fortunately the weather broke to be somewhat cooler while we were here. Property is cllose to the Weideken train station, a little bit further from the main HBF Definitely worth it."
