"Fantastic Glamping Stay at Hacienda Guachipelín! We loved our stay at Hacienda Guachipelín, especially the glamping! Our tent had a private plunge pool (the hot tub is by the main pool) and was tucked away from the busy hotel area. The complimentary breakfast delivered to our tent was incredible—and huge! Eating outside in the cool morning air while watching white-faced monkeys was unforgettable. Just keep an eye on your food: the monkeys can be aggressive. We moved our trays inside and they left us alone. Dinner was excellent too. Although the main restaurant was closed during the off-season, both menus were available, and we enjoyed wine, dessert, and live music. The guided volcano hike was reasonably priced, with a great guide. We also loved the hot springs (98–104°F). Evenings are quieter, but some pools start closing for cleaning around 5 p.m. Don't miss the modern lookout point with its hanging cargo nets and gorgeous views! A few tips: Download WhatsApp to contact the front desk, get maps and menus, and order breakfast. Bring bug spray for hikes. The golf cart can pick you up at the glamping tents, usually within five minutes—great for anyone with mobility concerns. Breakfast trays are collected roughly 90 minutes after delivery; you can also request indoor setup to avoid the monkeys. Beautiful property, great food and so much to do. We'd happily return!"
