Goid complete breakfast, property was maintained , room was clean , but the hallway 2nd floor had a terrible bad fish smell! From elevators all the way down to end of hall to my room - terrible smell, i informed front desk- they dont have a clue- something fishy nasty smelling!

The Capitol Hotel
Floor was dirty. Door lock was difficult to open. Breakfast was good. Parking lot under the building was difficult to get out of, but felt safe.

River Overlook - Check the view from your deck!

Our stay came after an 18" snowfall and near 0F cold in historic Collinsville, so we were concerned about our late arrival, parking, safe walkways and a warm home. Nice quiet location for our stay. Overall well equipped but minimal silverware. Keurig coffee was provided which was a nice addition. Minimal ice, only one tray.
