"As someone who thoroughly enjoys walking through the woods, staying in the Copperhead cabin was exceptionally wonderful. The oaks, hickory, sassafras, black gum…the diversity was a thrill to experience. Copperhead was nicely situated close to the caves where we hiked for hours, then visited the local eateries. And when we returned in the evening, the ambiance and amenities of Copperhead proved to be welcoming and well worth the price. Kudos to you Mechelle! If only for a brief period, thank you for allowing us into your world. Ken."

"Book this retreat, you won't regret it. The cabin was incredibly clean and the views are to die for. It was so cool being surrounded by earth and rock with a private waterfall. Having coffee in the hot tub first thing in the morning is a must.They also had great WiFi, DVDs on site (we brought a laptop to stream and it worked great) and have a super cute guest book. Don't forget to sign!Couple things to prepare for: the stairs are steep, it's just the nature of how the cabin was built and we adapted easily. Also, if you plan on having a bonfire at night, definitely bring a good flashlight to find your way back!We will definitely be back again!"

"The property was beautiful. It is wheelchair accessible as far as the ramp. The carpet on the floors was not manual wheelchair friendly, but I have a power chair and used it to get around. There are 2 walk in showers and I was able to get to the master bath one, but tight hallway kept me from other bedrooms and bathrooms. There were no grab bars in either shower which I am very dependent on. We had one glitch with the septic and it was taken care of in record time. All in all it was a great place for us to spend time together with plenty of seating both for eating, watching television, visiting with each other and sleeping. I would recommend it for young or old with just a be aware for someone wheelchair dependent."

"Great space for 17 adults celebrating a 30th Birthday! Main spaces and bathrooms felt clean, but windows/porches/outskirts of rooms could use a little TLC in regard to cleaning maintenance. We decided against use of the grill as the whole interior was molded. Fire pit area is a separate space from the home which also limited our use, driveway is a little sketchy with deep roots from washout - cars likely will not tolerate well. A lot of time was spent in the game room area and watching football on many of the televisions through the home. Plenty of seating and space for our large group. Booking and communication with the host throughout our stay was seamless. Would definitely recommend!"

"We enjoyed our stay but things could have been a bit better when it comes to cleanliness and a few kitchen amenities (i.e. spoons, spices). The hot tub was dirty when opened and the jets kicked out a lot of residue/dirt. The area around the house, specifically the wooded area next to the house, seemed to have numerous pieces of garbage. The swimming pool was very nice and enjoyed by the whole family. It was close to various hiking trails."
