"The property has 4 short flights of steps which are more ladders. It will be challenging for anyone with mobility issues and/or small children. Holter is full of algae in late summer, fishing is still good but no one will want to get in the water. It is a one-person kitchen. The A-frame-type roof makes ceiling very close to bed, so watch your head. Holter Lake is a beautiful setting, but with all the additional charges, the price point is very high for the property."

"Very clean house. The location was beautiful. The online description is very accurate in regards to the wildlife mounts. One thing to note is that the house was great for us because we spent very little time there. If you are looking for a space to spend an amount of time at it is not laid out in a functional way due to all of the wildlife mounts. There is also no stave and a very small refrigerator. As I mentioned though, for the amount of time we spent at the actual house is was great for us!"

"Charming historical cabin in a beautiful, peaceful setting. All the amenities that a home includes. A home away from home. The hosts were very warm and welcoming immediately. And to top it off, we saw a moose, deer and wild turkey! Great home base for our five day stay. What a great country that we live in from Ohio to Montana and back!"

"This cabin is in a beautiful valley with deer in the meadow every morning. It may be a bit rugged for some travellers, and some things could have been in better shape. But it worked perfectly for our needs while visiting my elderly father in Helena."

"A wonderful place. It was peaceful and comfortable. Everything you need was there. Just far enough out of town to be quiet and beautiful but close enough to pop right back into town. "Lovely home, with every detail on point! Beautiful, comfortable and clean The home owner has done a wonderful job with everything from the decor to the furniture to the linens and towels. The beds are very comfortable and cozy. They even have a drawer in the bathroom with items “maybe forgotten” which was an unexpected touch. We’d love to stay in this property again! Can’t say enough good things about it! Bravo homeowner, bravo!"
