A great place

Loved the house! We held my sisters Bach party here with 16 adults. Plenty of room for everyone. The pool area was wonderful. We loved that everything was stocked and ready for us. I would love to book again in the future for family trips.

We enjoyed our stay. Any issues with the house were addressed quickly. Upstairs had the queen bed shared a bathroom with the room with a king and twin beds. Downstairs, the trundle twin shared a bathroom with the other king bed. Then the bunk room on the lower level shared one bathroom. The pool is a hot tub, but they were able to turn off the heater for our hot summer stay. The stairs down to the river are steep. We had to walk through a bit of mud to get to the river.

Very nice home

Although the house accommodated our family of 17 perfectly, the landscaping needs some attending to and it wasn’t as easy getting down to the river as the listing lead to believe. I’m glad there was a small pool/spa on the porch our 6 grand littles loved it. Overall, we loved this property and still give it a 10 outta 10.

It was a convenient drive to both Canyon Lake marina (14 mins) & Gruene Hall (20 mins). The home was very clean and well stocked to cook for large groups. We hope to return soon!

River vacation weekend

House was amazing and property management company made the process very easy. The only thing that did not seem to work was we could not get the pool/spa to heat up. The river was cold due to much rain and would have liked the warm water. Everything else was great. One thing I really appreciated was the thoroughness of the instructions for check in and checkout. The were concise and easy to follow. My family had a wonderful weekend. Thank you

Inside and outside there were huge tables that fit us perfectly for dining. Each room is attached to its very own patio entrance which we loved! The location is amazing and it was in a gated community so lots of privacy and security. The owners were very responsive and helped with any questions we had. Overall it was the best stay we’ve had near the river and we would 100% come back!

Great family getaway house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Was perfect for a large family gathering. Kids slept down below & adults on upper floors. Views were magical and the stairs down to the beautiful river were a great workout (not for the faint of heart). The only downside was that this was also the "Noah's Ark" house - the management company specified multiple times that there would only be two supplied of everything (2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 paper towel rolls, 2 dishwasher tablets, etc.). For the amount we paid to rent, how about three?! Otherwise perfect.

Experience with stay

The property and location are good and overall we had an enjoyable stay. However, there are some safety concerns worth mentioning: 1) There is no keypad on the inside for the electric gate. To open the gate from the inside, one has to put the hand through the rails, enter the code and quickly pull the hand away before one is caught in the fast moving gate. f2) There is no photo eye or reverse edge features for the gate that will stop the gate for emergencies once it is in motion. These are safety features that are common in this type of high end properties that are family friendly. Hope these concerns are taken seriously and addressed soon.
