"The place look like years ago it was great as advertised but not any more. They need to update the pictures and amenities. The patio could be better to enjoy if they update the grill and hammock. Hammock was too dirty with mold that we didn’t even want to touch. Same as the grill. The inside of the house it was ok. Unfortunately we couldn’t use one of the beds because it was full of fire ants and black ants. Imagine if one of daughters was allergic to ants bites as other people? That would it be...

"We enjoyed staying at Peaceful Songbird Cottage, which was super clean and well stocked. We appreciated the ability to use the spaces indoors and out! We stayed long term and found all we needed to cook daily breakfasts and dinners. We had a truck, 14 foot trailer and a motorcycle, with plenty of parking for all. We were able to walk from the cottage to Canyon Lake Dam, spotting deer along the way, which was perfect. Canyon Lake was a good central location to explore Hill Country. The hosts were...
