"Our room was on the ground floor as we didn't want to carry bags up flights of stairs. On arrival, the reception desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious (Elms Wing Room) and the bed comfy. Our bathroom was an accessible one (though we didn't need accessibility) but it had one dim light and no heating apart from that provided to the main bedroom so it was a bit cold. There was no flat surface to put things on apart from a narrow glass shelf. It really needs a table or vanity. There was plenty of body wash, shampoo and conditioner as well as hand cream but only 3 tissues left in the box.
Dinner in the restaurant was delicious with a set deal of either two courses or three. The scallops for entree were beauifully cooked, my seafood bisque had one piece of each type of seafood which looked small but was very filling and came with toasted sourdough to mop up the sauce. Dessert was a sort of lemon meringue pie with a different name. It was too sweet for me but very nice flavours. I would recommend the restaurant for dinner. A buffet breakfast was included and was average. It wasn't bad but also wasn't amazing with the usual fare - nothing special.
Overall we had a lovely night at Peppers Craigieburn and would stay there again but would love if those small issues in the bathroom could be improved."
