"While some rooms are a little dated, the place is kept immaculately clean and the location couldn't be better. The staff are so friendly and courteous across the board. Having the beach literally steps from the pool is a massive plus. The breakfast was very good and varied."
"Simple rooms and shower facilities, with a shared kitchen and living space downstairs. This is so useful to share tips and experiences with others. The space has walk books and you can borrow backpacks, beach towels etc. Giuseppe made us breakfast each morning and looked over our plans for the day, giving us ideas and information. He could not have been kinder or more helpful.
Important fact! You can't drive into old Ciutadella! Parking in the Port Antic and getting used to a ten minute walk...

"Kind of an awkward intro because you HAVE to call the reception listed on the sign to get into the hotel (I'm not stupid, it's not obvious that you have to do that). But once you do that, you are in. Once you get to the room, it's awesome. However, the only thing is that like most European hotels, the door to the bathroom may as well not be there because it's completely not sound proof. So if you aren't comfortable pooping around your significant other, you are about to get a lot closer because...
"Property needs urgent upgrades. Rooms are old and the AC barely works. Cleanliness is also poor. Staff is young and inexperienced. Location is great (close to ciutadella) and the sunset from the sunset bar is beautiful. I would not recommend this hotel. "

"Amazing trip LAGO really go the extra mile to make guests feel special (they decorated the room for a birthday surprise, with balloons and complimentary wine). We went half board this time and it was well worth it , the food is delicious and beautifully presented.
Everything is so clean and well kept with a really chill laid back vibe.
The pool and DJ was great and the Saturday night entertainment by the pool fabulous.
Definitely coming back again."
"We stayed for 7 nights from the 11th - 18th June, the hotel is lovely and very peaceful. The pool is clean and kept very tidy. The buffet breakfast was so good, something for everyone. The icing on the cake for us was the beach, which you get to via a gate at the bottom of the pool area. It was in a beautiful cove, also a short walk along the cliffs you reach another much quieter cove, it was truly magical. In the evening we walked down to the harbour, which was a 5 minute walk, where there are a number of restaurants, we eat in 5 different restaurants, all were very good, a mixture of cuisine.
There are not many places I would go back to, this is one I would definitely visit again. "

"Wow. The location was amazing and close to food, shopping and beaches. The view from Richard's unit far exceeded my expectations. The shades of blue from the pool to the sea to the sky were spectacular. We especially enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio watching the birds and listening to their various calls. The pool offered crystal clear water with both sunny and shady spots for relaxing. Richard was friendly, helpful and responsive. I can't say enough good things about this stay and the great time we had there celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. Highly recommend without reservation!"
"Lovely little apartment perfect for my short stay. The apartment was clean and maintained to a high standard.
The only area letting this hotel down is the pool. I found it to have rubbish between the loungers and there was a drain smell whenever someone used the facilities near the pool."

Lots of parking on site and in a parking lot at the next street. Menorca has mostly free parking so no worries if renting a car."
