There were plenty of fish, and we saw rays and orca too. Waking up to the birdsong and going to sleep to the sound of the waves just outside the window made this a perfect spot for relaxing and recharging. "

"I had an amazing stay here during my five-week Oceania trip. My first night was unexpected—I needed an ambulance to the local hospital after a fall on the ferry—but the staff at Bay Vista were incredibly attentive throughout the whole ordeal. They checked on me during the ambulance visit and followed up the next day to make sure I was doing okay (four sutures along my hairline). A special shout-out to Maddie, who was exceptionally caring and checked on me several times. The location is absolutely beautiful, and it has definitely set the bar high for future stays along the southern New Zealand coast. Thank you to the entire team for your kindness and support during a very stressful moment. You all truly rock!"
