Terrific stay at Belmonte Guest House.

We loved our one night stay at Belmonte Guest House. We arrived late for check-in but keys were left out and check in was easy. The room was beautiful, with a lovely bathroom, comfortable linens and amazing views. Breakfast was very good as well. We would highly recommend the Belmonte Guest House.

The guesthouse is impersonal, as is the staff. There is no finer detail to making guests feel special. I think the pictures do not represent the actual guesthouse which looks a bit tatty from the outside. There was absolutely no way of getting a smile out of any staff member. There was no filter coffee in the mornings and I had to specially request it. The staff seemed to have to borrow it from somebody. The breakfast setting was not nice and I chose not to have breakfast there any more.

Das hotel hat einen schönen Ausblick Handtücher und Bettwäsche werden ordentlich getauscht aber auf den Einrichtungen wurde noch nie sauvergemacht 3bis 5mm Staub das Frühstück ist das schlechteste was ich bisher in sa hatte ist noch schlechter als im leeuwenhof und das ist schon was der technische Standard ist gut dusche es für eine Nacht ok aber Frühstück indiskutabel schlecht völlig überforderten Personal ohne Kontrolle der Eigentümer sie sehr freundlich er erwidert noch nicht einmal die Tageszeiten Overall für eine Nacht ok wenn das grottenschlechte Frühstück nicht wäre

Wonderful small hotel on top of the hill

Wonderful small hotel on top of the hill with gorgeous view. The owner is very nice and attentive to your need.The rooms are very spacious. A great value for the region. Most room if not all have a big balcony.

Just so so...

Fantastic house and large room with comfortable beds and balcony with views. But staff not very welcoming and friendly and pool dirty. A bit difficult to find even with gps. Breakfast ok but again, staff not very service minded. Other places in neighborhood I would go to instead next time visiting Paarl.

Horrible

When we arrived the power was off,never came back on.Most places have generators to avoid power problems including safety to operate alarms.The room was musty ,dirty and shower moldy.Pool was dirty unusable and the picture is genius photography.I would not recommend this property,this is our second week and this was the worst experience,most places in this price range were very good ,some exceptional.

Belle vue sur les montagnes

Bel hotel et très belle vue sur les montagnes. Le bâtiment est beau, la réception et le salon accueillant et soigné avec un bouquet et fleurs fraîches chaque jour. Malheureusement la propreté de la chambre est à revoir! Beaucoup de poussières et des traces sur les côtés du lavabo à l'arrivée. Le petit déjeuner est simple et pourrait être un peu plus élaboré et copieux pour un 4 étoiles. La piscine n'était pas très propre non plus, l'eau était trouble et le robot est resté dans l'eau 24/24h même lorsqu'il était éteint.

Wunderschöne Sicht

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und bietet jeden Komfort. Leider liegt es etwas abgelegen, man ist aufs Auto oder Taxi angewiesen. Dafür ist die Sicht über Paarl wunderschön!

Excellent accomodation

Great hotel! The room and bath were spacious and very comfortable. We had an incredible view from our balcony. The pool was beautiful, just wish we had more time to hang out there. The service was above the call.....We were there on a Sunday night and were having trouble finding a restaurant open. Our hostess not only recommended a great one, but drove to it to shoe us where it was located, as we followed in our car. Also, breakfast was served to us (very delicous and filling) early the next morning as we had to catch an early flight. I want to go back and spend a week!
