"The place is exactly as advertised, and communication with the hosts was easy, with fast responses and an eagerness to help. The location is perfect; it's just a 10-minute walk to the beach and a short drive to hike among redwoods. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Service was outstanding, staff was excellent, weight. Staff in dining room was very good. I understand the hotel changed owners recently. Upgrades they need in the room I was in the shower surround needs to be replaced. The bed was too soft, the bottom fitted sheet is the wrong size for the mattress. It does not stay, smooth and sleek. I didn’t appreciate the nightly rate and felt it was exorbitant. I do understand it was graduation week. I would like to know if the rate would have been different had I booked directly with the hotel. The person who made my reservation used hotels.com. "
