"The hotel is very charming. The dining area is lovely. Breakfast was good-meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, pastries. The pool was nice. The rooms definitely leave something to be desired. "Great location in a small but quaint town. The beach is walking distance, from middle of the resort property to the edge of the water is around 10minutes. The path was pedestrian designated and there are proper crosswalks to go into the beach parking lot...I'd say you can probably walk a toddler and feel safe enough to do so. We rented a car and hopped around a bit to other beaches but found the 'home beach' to be the best. The stretch closest to the resort is sort of smack in the middle, so...
