"Located in the centre of pescina, close to bars and restaurants with easy parking. The room was pleasant with an outlook over the river but overlooked by the apartment blocks. The restaurant is closed (until further notice !!!), however the breakfast was excellent and staff very pleasant. Found a superb restaurant within 15 minutes walk and used it both nights although there are others closer to the hotel and town. "The family owned & operated hotel was very nice and couldn't have been more helpful during our stay. There was construction happening while we were there but they made sure not to bother the guests. Very nice place and we hope to get back there!"

"Nice spot for people why like to hike. Quite reroute. Near by village is 10 min by car. Only a few spots to eat. On breakfast only yogurt and cakes with coffee. Coffee is excellent, but it is Italy it suppose to be that way."

Popular and unmissable wakings are to the Rocca di Calascio and to the peak of Gran Sasso. From the Locanda the beautiful village of Santo Stefano is within walking distance and Calascio and Castel del Monte pretty villages are within short drive by car. Food at the Locanda restaurant is great, homemade pasta is highly recommended."

"What a great place to stay. Marta sent me everything you could possibly need prior to arrival and was great about communicating through WhatsApp and email. The place was spotless and had everything you would need for a few days or a few weeks stay. We will definitely stay there again when we are in town to visit family."
