"Excellent location for visiting the wider Amalfi coast. The hotel is actually in San Gennaro near Praiano. San Gennaro was a lovely village/town with excellent restaurants and bus service. The hotel has wonderful views of the Amalfi coast to Positano and as far as Capri in the distance. We highly recommend booking a table for dinner on the hotel balcony, both for the view as well as the quality of the food. The rooftop pool area was a delight following a day visiting/touring the coastal towns. I cannot compliment the hotel staff highly enough for the level of service and their cheerful attitude, which is a credit to the hotel owners who themselves were equally helpful. We booked a room without a balcony which was clean (always a priority) and perfectly functional - the rooftop area more than compensated for the lack of view from the room"

If you want to feel transported to what hotels used to be, full of character, timeless elegance, history, and soul, this is it. It’s a shame that so many guests breeze past this kind of old-world charm, chasing the next trendy, Instagram-ready moment instead."
