"We loved our stay here, it was so near to whitby centre. The room was good, a negative is no where to dry towels. We had to ask for more coffee and sugar, as we were staying three nights. We will recomnend a stay at Penny Hedge. Staff could not do enough for us , all very friendly and polite. We will come again now we know of the hotel . Caroline and Laura were helpful , we rang because we could not quite find your location on our sat nav. staff helped us on this matter and then found you quickley. kind regards to all at penny Hedge. The only thing that could be made better would be an addition of a full drench shower because there was certainly room for one"

"Location was perfect . The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed . The bedrooms and bathroom were particularly large so we had lots of space and lots of cupboard space too. Loved the free standing bath ! "

"Just ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in."
