Prospect mound At first I thought this was a mill mound, but it's apparently a folly. The famous Nottinghamshire Antiquarian Dr.Robert Thoroton lived at the Old Hall in the 17th century and had this mound and another nearby constructed as a viewing platform and eyecatcher in the parkland
