We drove our Electric Vehicle from Denver and stayed at this home. It is a great place for 3-4 people. We also had our dog. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. The EV charger is literally a 3 min walk. It is not a free charger but is very inexpensive. Also, you need to move the car every 4 hours at the charger but overall, still very useful to have. The home is very comfortable with a pull out sofa bed, a full bed and a murphy bed.

GREAT kitchen! Cooked all our meals there. I enjoyed the older neighborhood next to park, walking around looking at older houses. Although this apartment was in the basement, the lighting was bright and well-placed, so I found it delightful to stay there. AND, the price was quite affordable, a double plus!

This apartment is truly a lovely spot. It has a great location, and, is situated with understated charm and welcoming additions. It is full sized, so, it has very high and spacious ceilings, just not a lot of sunlight. For our purposes it worked well since we were away during the day times. It was quite a comfortable spot to rest at night after a full day outdoors.

This gem is situated at a great location, walking to main street, easy drive to ski resorts, everything inside has been updated, comfortable beds and sitting area. As a basement unit, you should expect some noise, at the same time it is very minimal while we were there. A great rental also needs a great management team to provide communications that are timely, clear, actively listening (asking the right question to understand the underlying issues), respect diverse opinions, and mostly address what is important to the customer. The management team for this unit has succeeded in providing great communications, after booking, during the stay, and after departure. I appreciate the effort the management team put in for this. Only thing that I would love to see in this unit is adding a washer and dryer. A week of skiing without clean clothes was a bit of a challenge for us.

You’re in for a lovely stay at this Oasis in Carbondale. Comfortable and roomy with all the conveniences of home. Enjoy walking to all the shops and restaurants. If you like to ride bikes, the bike trail is easy to access.

My mom, sister, and I had a wonderful reunion vacation in Carbondale. We could bring our 2 dogs-thank you! Unit was bright, clean, and great location-walking distance to downtown and close to other fun destinations. Only thing missing was a decent sized outdoor space for hanging out. It’s a basement apartment which was fine-but it would have been nice to be able to hang out outside. Met our needs—we enjoyed it!

We had a very nice stay at this property. While I didn’t realize it was a basement apartment and was disappointed about that at first, it didn’t really matter as we spent very little time there during the day. The property is in a perfect location to Carbondale shops, parks and restaurants. It was very clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable and shower was really nice. Checkin was easy and property managers were great to work with. We would stay here again.

We were not able to stay at the property due my wife's respiratory issues because of smoke from forest fires in the area and other states. We had gone to another area with similar air quality to Carbondale and she had breathing difficulties and had to make a hasty retreat back home. Eight days prior to our planned arrival we notified the management company for the property that we would not be staying and asked them if they could find a way to provide any refund. They said they could not. This included the cleaning fee which would not be needed. We had hoped they could remarket the property and provide a little bit of relief. We did not expect a full refund. Even a token amount would have been appreciated. Instead they twice charged for the security deposit. Once before the planned arrival and then again a day after the planned departure after the previous charge was reversed. They have said they will refund the second charge in a week. The insurance they suggested we should have gotten would not cover for an issue that might occur. We cannot recommend this property or any others managed by Cactus Vacations because of their pitiful and inflexible customer service. They have ways they do things and they cannot be changed. Definitely do not plan to stay there if you have respiratory issues during fire season, even if there may be fires out of state. The smoke from California and Oregon goes directly into Colorado. The ratings on the property itself are low because we don't know what the property is like as we did not stay there.
