Apartment ideally located for visiting: the Medieval City, entrance through Porte d'Aude or Porte Narbonnaise; to attend its fireworks display and its conflagration in the evening of July 14; at its festival, in the Jean Deschamps theater in the heart of the City and at the performances of the Medieval in the lists. Other sites to visit: La Bastide 10 mins walk; the Cathar castles, the museums, the caves, the churches, the abbeys, the cellars of the Minervois and Corbières, the Canal du Midi with its boat trips ... The Upper Aude Valley. 10 minutes by car, you will be at the edge of the Cavayère lake, with its sandy and grassy beaches, pedal boats, water park, windsurfing boards; its tree climbing courses, for children and adults. Close to the lake, the Australian animal park open most of the year.

Great place to stay in Carcassonne
Very comfortable spacious apartment with good facilities and excellent secure parking. There are two bedrooms but we only needed to use one as only 2 of us but the second bedroom is an attic room with a low ceiling. Very quiet apartment but with shops nearby for fresh bread and other provisions. Only a few minutes walk from several restaurants and the chateau and old town a short walk away. We had a great week staying in the apartment and would thoroughly recommend it.

Great location!
The location of this apartment is ideal for exploring the medieval city, it's right next to it! It's literally a 2-minute walk which was great for us as we visited often. The apartment itself was spacious, clean and had good cooking facilities. There's also a little outside area with a BBQ and seating area which is located where you park your car. We received a very warm welcome from our host. She provided us with drinks in the fridge, which were very much appreciated, and let us have some of her homegrown organic tomatoes! We couldn't have asked for a better welcome to Carcassonne.

Nice appartment.
Well situated and very centra.i would have liked to have had a toaster and a kettle.would have made breakfast easier.however,i would have to say that there is no way this appartment would suit 6 adults as sleeping arrangements very unsuitable.maybe 2 adults and 4 children would manage,but even 4 of us found the upstairs room impossible.but having said that,for 4 people you coud manage for a week.

Very quiet, but close to Old Bridge, cafes and grocer, etc. Kept us cool, despite it reaching 37 degrees outside. Claudine and Jacky very helpful and friendly. Would fully recommend it.

Beautifully situated between Cite and Ville Basse. Ideal base whether on foot, by car or motorbike with secure parking. Eaaygoing, relaxed atmosphere.

quiet, beautiful and 5 minute walk to the walled city
My family and I had a lovely stay at this home that we will treasure. Claudine welcomed us warmly to help us enter the parking portal (where we kept our car and walked everywhere) and show us around. The main bedroom is beautiful and our two teenagers slept comfortably, one on the futon in the kitchen and one up in the loft. The walk to the walled city was an easy 5 minutes up the hill. The walk to the new city is 15 minutes or so but there is a small store 2 minutes walk away where we bought fruit, cheese, bread, etc. (closed mid day but then re-opens). The shower is hot and dependable and the kitchen/dining room was a perfect spot to play cards in the afternoon while the sun and tourists were at max in the city.

Nous avons passé un très mauvais séjour dans cet appartement. Il y a clairement un problème concernant ce logement. Je ne sais pas si l'hôte se rend compte de la différence entre ce qui est proposé en ligne et le logement en lui-même. Nous n'avons pu avoir accès qu'à une chambre sur les deux annoncées, et le logement était extrêmement sale. Les draps n'avaient pas été changés, nous avions la saleté des précédents locataires partout dans l'appartement c'était affreux. Enfin il n'est pas possible d'amener des enfants en bas âge, les escaliers à l'entrée sont dangereux et aucun équipement n'est proposé (sécurité, chaise haute, lit bébé...) Je ne recommande pas du tout ce logement.

L'appartamento è in un'ottima posizione, a 10 minuti a piedi sia dalla città fortificata sia dalla città bassa. Parcheggio sicuro nel cortile interno, ideale per chi raggiunge Carcassonne in macchina. L'appartamento è senza aria condizionata, però è fresco, quindi non ne abbiamo sentito la mancanza. Il proprietario è facilmente reperibile perchè abita nella stessa struttura.

Un emplacement idéal pour découvrir la cité
Nous avons séjourné durant 5 nuits dans l’appartement. Il est suffisamment spacieux pour 4 personnes (pas forcément adapté avec de très jeunes enfants à cause des escaliers), à proximité immédiate de la cité, d’une petite épicerie et à 15 minutes de marche de la ville basse. Vous pourrez laisser votre véhicule dans la cour en toute sécurité ainsi que vos vélos si besoin. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Claudine, la propriétaire, qui prendra le temps de tout vous expliquer. N’hésitez pas à lui demander si vous avez besoin d’équipements supplémentaires pour votre confort (grille pain, sèche cheveux ou aspirateur). L’espace extérieur partagé avec d’autres locataires est très appréciable. Bien qu’étant à 5 minutes de la cité, cet endroit est très calme. Pas beaucoup de points négatifs sur cet appartement: certains équipements mériteraient cependant d’être revus. Pour conclure, vous passerez un bon séjour dans cet appartement.

Accueil des propriétaires attentionnés, les rafraîchissements ont été très appréciés. L'appartement est très bien situé, calme et pourtant très proche de la citée médiévale, (prévoir tout de même de faire quelques courses avant) avec emplacement parfait et sécurisé pour la voiture. Dans la soirée l'air se rafraîchît et cela est très agréable. Merci encore Claudine et Jacky

Schöne Wohnung, super Lage, Top Location
Eine schöne Wohnung, eine sehr nette Vermieterin (spricht nur Französisch). Bis hoch zur Burg sind es nur 5 Minuten. Dort ist immer was los. Ritterspiele für die Kinder. Konzerte mit Topstars abends je nach Programm. Die Wohnung hat einen abschließbaren Parkplatz. Das ist in Frankreich in der Lage nicht oft zu finden. Wir können die Wohnung für vier Personen nur weiterempfehlen. 5 Sterne.

A deux pas de la citadelle, la location bénéficie d'une cour où on peut garer la voiture : très appréciable. L'appartement est calme car donnant sur cour. L'intérieur est très joliment décoré et récemment rénové ; fonctionnel, il manquerait peut être d'un lave vaisselle. Propriétaires disponibles et attentionnés (des boissons fraiches nous attendaient dans le réfrigérateur).

Au pied de la Cité, l'appartement est idéalement situé et bénéficie d'un parking (indispensable dans le quartier). Claudine avait prévu des ventilateurs, ce qui était plus appréciable compte tenu des fortes chaleurs cet été. Bon et sympathique accueil. A recommander !

nous avons passer une très bonne semaine dans la location de Jacky et Claudine. Ils sont vraiment charmants et très attentionnés. Ils avaient prévus de quoi nous rafraîchir a notre arrivée et l'appartement ne manque de rien et il est très bien situé. Superbe location au pied de la citadelle de Carcassonne
Très bon accueil à notre arrivée, avec boissons fraiches et en quantité dans le frigo suite à un trajet sous la chaleur. Logement spacieux et très calme car en dehors de la circulation de la ville due, une cours privative pratique car les places de parking ne sont pas aisées à trouver près du logement. Prévoir l'investissement d'un lave-vaisselle de façon à profiter pleinement des vacances, sinon c'était superbe, merci à Claudine et Jacky.
