The room was great, very clean and spacious, nicely furnished. We booked for 4 adults but the room that was booked for us was for 3 adults and 1 child. The staff was able to sort it out promptly by offering us another room, however something that might be worth calling about for the future. Breakfast was great, and in very good location!

Rooms ok, although avoid 201 we asked to be moved as only a skylight no opening windows and no AC. Ended up in 208 over looking the road. Tables in bar and restaurant were sticky as were the floors in both. Breakfast at £12.50 was OK, didn't rate the sausages, everything else was OK.. Staff were very friendly and helpful, quick and easy change of room.

The only satisfactory feature was the restaurant à la carte food for dinner. The room was very poor for a Wyndham property. There was dirt and stains in the room walls, the cleanliness of the sheets was questionable, the bathroom walls were dirty, the tub caulking was poorly done and very grimy, the floor tile grout was dirty/stained around the tub, the bed creaked with the slightest movement, the provided glasses were covered in fingerprints, and the tea kettle had not been cleaned in some time. In addition, the sink and bathtub drains were partially clogged - after a 4 minute shower I was standing in 2-3 inches of water! To boot, the people above us started filling their bathtub and then went to sleep, causing a flood in our bathroom and the hallway. The young lady on the desk promptly found the cause of the leak and cleaned up our room - very satisfied with her response and professionalism.

Location was great to visit the Niece who is studying nearby and to head into Cardiff for the rugby. Public transport is well placed - a bus stop nearby took us into Pontypridd for parkrun and also the Trehafod train station for getting to Cardiff. We are at the restaurant and the food was delicious and highly recommend. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. However the general state of the hotel is old and tired. It is seriously in need of refurbishment to bring it up to the heritage name. The stay itself was not unpleasant but the photos make the hotel look better than it really is.

Hotel offers good quality accommodation at a reasonable price. It was a great location for us visiting family in Pontypridd. Only slight negative was the black mould behind the bath taps.

Room was dirty on arrival, had to ask for the shower to be cleaned and the carpet hoovered. Cleaning was not kept on top of and during the stay I had to ask for the bed to be changed and toilet roll to replaced as we had none left whatsoever. Besides from this the hotel was perfect for the location of where we were going and the bed was very comfortable.
