Clean room. Request a lower level room unless you want to carry your suitcase up 18 stairs. Parking is an additional fee not listed on all websites. Nice people, friendly staff. Great workout facility-small and busy.

Be sure and visit the Carefree Sundial and Desert Garden Park. Carefree and Cave Creek had a number of very nice restaurants that we enjoyed: Keeler’s, Harolds, Local Jonnies, and the Tom Tom (I may have that name wrong - It might be Tonto).
Pretty, neat town. Most things are a long drive.

Such a nice town. We loved the southwest architecture. So clean and such a wonderful connection with nature.
If you are planning a relaxing vacation to Phoenix or Scottsdale, try Carefree. You wont regret it. Small town vibe with plenty of great places to eat & drink. And don't miss the rodeo at the Buffalo Chip every Wed and Friday (and it's free !!).
