Top Carlisle Hotel Reviews
Crown and Mitre Hotel
8/10 Good
"Perfect location right downtown. Not too far from the train station and various bus stops, close to the castle, the cathedral, and the wall. Everything was clean, although the toilet flushed unreliably. Having a lift was a lifesaver with a heavy suitcase or on long walk days. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and a Tesco close by. Be sure and try Mammas Fish Restaurant while you’re there!"
County Hotel
8/10 Good
"Shabby but adequate for a couple of nights. Parking was ok for us but it could be a problem if there are a lot of guests. It’s first come, first served for about 25-30 spaces; there are other car parks in the vicinity. We didn’t eat there; it’s very close to the city centre and there is plenty of choice in the area. Room was ok but beds could have been made better as the mattress was visible at the bedhead but it was comfortable and a fan had been provided as it was pretty warm! Certainly worth the money we paid (as cheap as some youth hostels). Floors creak which disturbed us occasionally"
ibis Carlisle – City Centre
8/10 Good
"Rooms were good, clean and big enough for a budget hotel. Hotel lobby is a little dated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not have breakfast because we needed to leave early, so cannot comment on its quality."
Langley Castle Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Good breakfast, nice location in the centre of town."
North Lakes Hotel And Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Customer service in the restaurant was amazing lots of different selections off food to choose from. Spa was lovely shame robes weren’t available In the room though. £1 coin needed for the lockers which I hadn’t realised. The rooms are very clean the bed was so comfy great nights sleep "
Carlisle Station Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by BW
8/10 Good
"Needs a refurb but for the price it was fine. All staff very pleasant and the room spotless. Bar was closed for a while due to a technical issue and the lift not working but other than that, all good."
