We stayed at the hotel for 4 days with 2 kids. The hotel was spacious and very relaxing. The pools and waterslides were the main attraction! It was a short ride to downtown Carlsbad or Encinitas which offer great dining options. The beaches were also a short ride from the hotel which made for a fun visit! I would say the service was good but not great. The resort was packed on Saturday and the pool area was very busy and they didn’t fully open the restaurant or waterslides until 11am. We also had issues with the google chromecast in the room. But other than that everything was great!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a quick weekend getaway. The customer service was excellent. Check in went smoothly and our room was upgraded to a larger suite. The valet attendants were hustling to ensure clients did not have to wait for their vehicles. The property was exceptionally clean. Both evenings, someone arrived to provide turndown service, bottle water (sparkling as well), and to offer any additional services. All staff were exceptionally pleasant and friendly. This was our first time staying at this hotel and we will definitely return.

You need to be careful with the “occupied” sign at your door. My room wasn't cleaned by housekeeping, I have to call and request it. I didn't know who had the sign in my door, I thought one of the staff put it when she realize we were still in the room after knocking that morning. Everything else was perfect! Stayed for 5 days, went to Legoland for a day which was 3miles away. The rest of the stay, we spent it in the hotel, kid friendly. Went out for food after eating a couple of times in the hotel. Very nice area! Very nice neighborhood! It's worth the money. I would recommend staying here. I would come back again.
