Friendly staff. Booked 3 rooms for a one night stay. One room was a superior room but unfortunately nothing was superior about it. All rooms were clean. Bar area really nice. Restaurant was lovely but we had mixed reviews about our meals.

The Golden Fleece Hotel, Thirsk, North Yorkshire
Our stay at the Golden Fleece was great! Easy check-in, lovely room. Food in the evening was great but we didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Easy walkable distance to James Herriot’s house. Parking very easy and felt secure! All in all very nice.

Classic Lodges The Old Swan Hotel
We had a lovely 2 night stay, the staff were great, our room spacious with a really comfortable huge bed. The hotel is period and charming. If you want a sanitised place with no character then don't stay here! only slight issue was breakfast, things ran out quickly and weren’t always replenished ...

The Edge. Modern loft apartment in Yorkshire market town.
Yorkshire tea and coffee were perfect. Also had fresh milk instead of long-life milk.
