Excellent little hotel that was perfect for what we needed. We were in town for a wedding so just needed a warm and comfortable bed for the night. Lovely little hotel with an excellent breakfast. Great location. Would stay again if I ever needed a night in Carnoustie

we arrived well into the evening Mary who checked us in said she would let the chef know we had arrived to allow us to get dinner,the room was enough for 2 people with a large bed desk and easy chair with hanging space for our clothes,bathroom a wee bit small door lock not good ,noisy floor but clean with lovely hot shower, Dinner was lovely, steak pie and the garlic creamy chicken beer was good staff in lounge bar very friendly and polite,off to bed for a,great nights sleep Breakfast was good and everything you needed,again staff polite and friendly,out for a wander along the high street Dinner on second night slightly disapointing (special beef curry ) not spicy and passion fruit cheesecake no passion, breakfast on day 2 was amazing (smokies). Overall this is a great hotel,Mary couldnt do enough for us as did the other staff taking time to chat,will return here again

Staff very helpful Food good, great to get home cooked meals, and not all the usual chain microwaved / boil in the bag meals. Only down side can be a bit noisey, we were the room directly above the bar, with it being so hot we had to have our windows open so my little boy struggled getting to sleep, after the first night we kinda got used to the train noises and the noisy banter outside the front of the pub. All in all would recommend , my little boy wants to come back, the staff were all amazing with him, one waiter even tried to help repair his scooter when the chain came off. Very friendly nice hotel, in great location.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location on the sea front and next to the train station. Rooms were clean and breakfast great. All of the staff were friendly and approachable. Would definitely stay again
