There is a brand new 16' x 16' gazebo with lights and furniture, along with 30 amp shore power. Note that the dock was extended to allow for 2 extra feet of water depth.

The great room of this house features vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams and a charming open floor plan that floods the living space with natural light. The new owners are also updating furniture throughout. You can enjoy sound front views and watching boaters navigate the waterway from the beautiful kitchen that boasts a cozy rustic décor. The kitchen overlooks the living room and a dining area that leads out to a generous screened in porch with panoramic views of the canal. A small desk enables travelers that need to work remotely a great workspace with a relaxing back drop. Just imagine sipping your morning coffee and watching a pod of dolphins swim by or dining at the outdoor table with a spectacular sunset dazzling on the water.

The spacious primary bedroom features a new mattress for the Queen-sized bed, beautiful stained-glass accents and a Jacuzzi tub that overlooks the water. Guests of this room will appreciate the on suite bathroom, TV, and direct access to the screened porch. Two additional Queen guest bedrooms with private bathrooms are sure to please your family and friends. The fully fenced in backyard gives a great space for outdoor entertainment. Make sure to bring your yard games – there is plenty of space for volleyball, cornhole, badminton, and grilling. There is a large area underneath the home that is ideal for shaded relaxation and provides an enclosed outdoor shower.

Fishermen and boaters will appreciate the nearby public boat ramp and nearly immediate access to the Intra-Coastal, Snow's Cut and the Cape Fear River with minimum wake zone navigation offered form this dock. The large gazebo with dining table for six and 3 Captain's Chairs is perfect for enjoying the long-range views of the harbor that includes summer fireworks display offered at the boardwalk, the long boat races in the fall and the Christmas Boat Flotilla in December. A public boat ramp is conveniently located just around the corner and there is ample parking for your boat trailer on the side of the house. Some guests rent gas golf carts to ride up to the beach or up to our legendary Carolina Beach Boardwalk where you find shops, restaurants, and an abundance of summer activities such as fireworks, carnival rides and live music.

Make plans today for a lifetime of memories! This home is close by Freeman Park so if you have a four-wheel drive vehicle, bring it. There is a power plug located under the driveway for electric golf carts. This is one of the few beach areas where you can actually drive out onto the beach. Enjoy a short walk to the little-known private beach of Florida, the North End Pier and restaurants. The "Barge" and "Sunset Views and Entertainment" are outstanding.

Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday rental in the Summer. Minimum two night stay other seasons.
Bedding Configuration: 3 Queens, Sleeper Sofa
Parking: Parking for 4 vehicles, or three vehicles and a boat trailer. Do not park on the lawn.
Prohibited: Smoking, Parking on the Lawn. Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.
Pet Policy: Dogs welcome as an optional add-on for this property with a non-refundable fee of $250 + tax that is charged per pet. Maximum of 2 dogs per reservation. Charge will be added after booking if not selected at checkout.  
Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund.  All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-refundable cancellation fees and travel insurance (if applicable).
