We found their local knowledge & tips more helpful than guidebooks. Top tips: book the popular masseur early & ask about the day boat trip (150hp open rib) which speeds you from 15 minutes away to the astonishing, relatively unknown Vulcano & Lipari islands, where 2 stops make for the perfect value day out! Highly recommended hospitality makes ‘Just Be’ particularly memorable - a real gem from where enjoy beautiful hilly drives to also reach tourist hotspots Taormina & Etna"

Rooms feel a bit dated but the quiet atmosphere, wonderful breakfast on the patio by a fountain and loads of flowers, fine dining, and beautiful grounds for wandering make Relais Santa Anastaaia a perfect place to enjoy Sicilian cuisine, AND convenience to Cefalu. "Set in stunning location . Just a short drive into the mountains from Rocca di capri leone. Has everything you need including a lovely big pool. Great base to explore the area - though you might want just to stay at the property!"

"We only spent the night but absolutely loved this Bed and Breakfast. Rubina and Giacomo were wonderful hosts. They work very hard, their food is very fresh, everything grown on the property. The views from the balcony were stunning. The walls are very thin, so you can hear your neighbors, but it was fine. I would return in a heartbeat. "
