"This home is located on a canal facing west so the sunset views were incredible. The guest rooms had lavender scented memory foam mattresses that were very comfortable and calming. The center dining room/dining table were really cool. The canoe part was stocked with games. The washer and dryer were brand new and did loads of laundry lightning fast. Just a short drive to the beach and horses everywhere. Can’t beat a beach weekend in Carova."

"The property was modern and clean. Great location for viewing birds, horses & dolphins. It was wonderful for submerging yourself in the wildlife sounds of Outerbanks. We heard coyotes and plenty of nocturnal birds at night. Ensure you have a high clearance AWD or 4WD vehicle to get there. The only odd things were no hand soap for the bathroom or kitchen and the additional charge for linens. Otherwise, it was a 5/5 experience! Thanks for sharing"

"We had a great time at the KOA cabin. The property could have used a bit more cleaning prior to check-in, but nothing that was unmanageable! The location was beautiful and peaceful! Will be going back!"

"The property was great. The grandkids enjoyed the canoe, kayak, and fishing from the pier. We loved the magnificent view at night of the stars, not diminished by light pollution. Sitting on the swing watching the sunrise was breath taking."

"Property was nice and very quiet other than the frogs (lol). Beach is about a block away so very close and not super touristy. Sunsets are breathtaking. Host was very helpful with suggestions about food, the area and just general questions."

"Absolutely love this property and area. They work well for my wife and I and our Lab. Everything is within walking distance. 3 min to the beach. 3 min to the Lighthouse. And restaurants near by. Great place to just check out for a bit, relax and unwind. The property amenities are coming along with the pool and fitness room now open."

The home is well-designed - the master bedroom and bath upstairs and 3 bedrooms and bath downstairs allowed 3 generations of our family to sleep comfortably and still have privacy and some personal space when we wanted. It is very tech-savvy as well - with flat-screen TVs in various rooms and great wi-fi- it kept the teenagers happy and let the grown-ups check in with...

"Great location! Within a short walk to beach, pool, restaurants, shops, and historical sites. The home has everything you need for your stay, including 2 bikes, beach chairs and umbrella! Bonus, the Salty Rim, a small walk up bar/restaurant, on the access road to the beach, just opened the week of our stay! Overall, would highly recommend."

"Carova Beach is magical - as if time stood still. In my opinion, this is one of the loveliest houses out there. It is SPOTLESSLY clean, it has everything you need and the old world style of the home is the icing on the cake. Couldn’t be any more relaxing. The beach is BEAUTIFUL and a two minute walk from the house. Be prepared! There is NOTHING in Carova Beach. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Beehive. Our family enjoyed playing horseshoes, mini golf and lounging in the pool. It is a short walk to the beach which was very nice. We also liked the two separate units which worked well for our group. The house was affordable prices and I would recommend staying there."
