This is an absolutely wonderful studio apartment that is very spacious, well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels and bedding. It is just steps from the beach and the patio is charming. Pool is as warm even in October. Check in and out was easy and the gist was kind and responsive. I will definitely stay here again.

Very cute, clean, and well maintained. Easy beach access across the street through patio gate. Communication with Micheal the host was prompt and simple. Large for a studio with a nice kitchen. The whole place feels new. Would love to stay here again!

Sandyland Studio Stay

The Sandyland Studio is a perfect place to stay in Carpenteria. The location is so close to the beach and all the cute downtown activities, and the studio is 100%.

Great studio apartment that is beautifully decorated. Location was literally across the street from the beach. Got to sit at the beach and watch the sunset in the evening and sunrise in the morning. Ample street parking. Michael is an excellent and accommodating host. He responded to our inquiries and questions in a very timely manner and provided excellent instructions on how to access the property. And he even provided snacks upon our arrival. Only knock on the property was some ants in the bathroom and kitchen areas, and the bed was a tad too soft for my preference.

Beautiful studio rental

This place is even better than the pictures! Immaculately clean, well stocked, excellent location, comfortable bed, nice linens and wonderful property manager. I've stayed in many rentals and this may be the best I've ever rented! Everything you could ever need. I stayed alone and felt very safe. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE!

This is an absolutely perfect cozy beautiful space where Michael has provided everything for a lovely vacation from the stylish design, comfy bed, cleanliness, bath toiletries, snack basket which our 12 year old thoroughly enjoyed, to the condiments and coffee, to the beach toys!

Relaxing Beach Vaca

I couldn't of asked for a better place to stay. It was so welcoming and exactly as described. My favorite by far was the outside patio and street access, it was a quick walk to the beach which I did pretty much every day. I would for sure want to stay here again if I'm ever in the area again.

Perfect place to stay!!

Our small family stayed here for a few days to get away. The beach is 85 steps from the door of the rental. The host was very easy to communicate with and knowledgeable of things to do locally. We also enjoyed renting a golf cart from the host to jet around town and the kids loved it. The rental was really nice and looked brand new. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect space

We had such a lovely stay at this light-filled, relaxing, clean and cozy apartment. Perfect for a relaxing beach stay. Right across the street from the beach access. The property had everything you would need for the beach. Quiet complex, easy parking and clear instructions from host. We will definitely be back.

A very cute & comfortable pied-à-terre by the beach

Location was perfect. I have zero complaints and would happily stay here again. Host was responsive and very friendly. Place was clean and nicely decorated and while on the small side it worked for me and my mom’s girls weekend. We took the golf cart out to a couple of local spots and it made our trip memorable and fun. I recommend visiting the seal sanctuary, Franklin Trail, Brass Bird Coffee, and Little Dom’s for dinner. Great place for a get away.

Amazing and better than any hotels in the area!

First of all, I am a local and I know the hotels and several rentals in Carpinteria since we have family stay here often. This is definitely the nicest for the price, location and the accommodations. Really kind and communicative owner. Super clean (and I am a neat freak) and even a great bed! The location is incredible- 1/2 block from the beach and you can hear the waves from the back patio. Good water pressure, nice kitchen and cute design touches. Will always be my first choice in the area.

Condo by the Ocean

Our condo by the ocean stay was nothing short of perfection! The stunning views, modern amenities, and exceptional communication by our host Michael truly made it a 5-star experience. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and luxurious retreat by the ocean. THE SUNSET WAS BEAUTIFUL!! We will definitely return on our next little getaway.

So close to the beach!

Michael’s Sandyland Studio is amazing in every way! The studio includes a fully stocked kitchen, extra towels and blankets, a cute outdoor patio, and lots of thoughtful little extras like two luggage racks. The two highlights: the place is SO close to the beach and SO clean! We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return. Thank you, Michael.

Clean and cozy stay. Everything was as described. I believe there was an error through the 3rd party (Expedia) in communicating the entry code promptly but once I communicated with the host, it was given to me. Walking distance from the beach and restaurants. Very peaceful and quiet beach.

Carpinteria Beach Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Sandyland Beach Studio! We had trouble with the keypad at check in, but Michael was extremely responsive and had the issue remedied within minutes. The unit itself was exactly as pictured, sparkling clean, and had all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay, plus plenty of extras. Our kids loved the board games and beach toys! The location is great - just around the corner from the beach and an easy walk to shops and restaurants downtown. Would highly recommend!

Carpenteria Gem

We had a wonderful stay at Sandyland - the suite was lovely, sparkling clean, well stocked and renovated beautifully with comfortable beds, great kitchen and living area, pretty patio and all that you might need for your stay with many thoughtful touches from the snacks waiting for us when we arrived to the awesome beach cart. The pool was great and the beach and ocean just steps from the patio. Michael was extremely helpful, kind and responsive - we would highly recommend staying here :)

Impeccable Attention to Details

The location was amazing... steps away from the beach and easy walk to downtown restaurants and shops. Honestly, couldn't ask for a better location. What was was most impressive, however was how Michael anticipated every possible need a guest might have. While we didn't end up cooking, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more). The space was fully optimized. Extra towels are always appreciated. The wagon full of beach necessities was a lovely touch. Michael was a thoughtful and gracious host. Our expectations were exceeded. We look forward to returning.
