The Armstrong Hotel

"The Armstrong is a lovely boutique hotel that is well-appointed with an attentive and friendly staff. The location is ideal for exploring downtown Fort Collins and is close to an almost overwhelming number of bars and restaurants. Since the hotel is an updated older property, the rooms are on the small side and you may encounter minor quirks. The only issue we encountered was the noise level outside of quiet hours. Music from the lobby is noticeable in your room, but only from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Some may enjoy having a background soundtrack, but we found it slightly obtrusive. Finally, the room prices seem to vary widely depending on the date, so having a flexible schedule may save you quite a bit of money. If you prefer the unique character of a boutique hotel over a large chain, you will probably enjoy your stay at the Armstrong."

"The room was clean but very outdated and had an old-house smell. We asked twice for the room to be refreshed, but no one came. Our laundry and trash were also never picked up despite requesting it. We asked for additional towels and toilet paper, which were dropped off on the table by the door rather than placed in the bathroom. The toilet paper already in the room was also covered in some sort of blue substance. Overall, the lack of housekeeping and follow-through on our requests was disappointing."

"This place was such a special find! Cute tiny homes, cabins and tents to chose from. The tiny home was very clean and had A/C which was great and unexpected. Great amenities, grills, black stone and even a pizza oven to use. We will definitely be visiting again soon. Not too far from our home in Colorado but far enough to have a little getaway."
