"Only thing we regret is that we only started one night here as we on the way from Portugal to Spain! We couldn’t say enough about this historical hotel and can’t wait to expect one day we return for the longer stay. The free breakfast was served on an ancient stone table, hotel also served a wonderful dinner, it was delicious! Entire place was like a giant storyteller, the ancients buildings and its exhibitions brought you back a thousand years. A beautiful garden and courtyard with partially existing cloister ….. the hotel location also very close to the Portuguese only national park, Peneda-Gerês National Park, not far from Braga. Ideal location between Portugal and Spain! "

We travel a lot and this place really was a good experience. Perfect and simple design with great attention to details. The cleaning is immaculate . We have the opportunity meeting the owner.
