"The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. Lovely room and excellent, ample breakfast. Shower is tight for a plus-sized person. Parking very easy, but the peculiarities of house numbering in Carrara make it difficult to find the B&B location, which is located not near #18 and behind another group of houses numbered 16. Still, I highly recommend this B&B!"

"Soggiorno eccellente alla Locanda dei Banchieri! Stanza spaziosa con una splendida vista mare. Colazione ottima e super abbondante. Una nota di merito al personale, davvero molto cortese e disponibile. Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo anche la piscina e l'idromassaggio. Consigliatissimo!"

"Wonderful hosts and beautiful location. A great place for hikers and people who like to explore the nature and the woods. The town is small but the host can prepare a lovely dinner which I highly recommend. Very enjoyable stay. "

"This stay was everything I needed. The staff was very helpful and considerate. My only advice to travelers is to consider taking a taxi to get there, as the walk from the train station (and vice versa) is about a half hour, mostly uphill."

"Lory and Max are warm and wonderful hosts. They helped us to book a dinner with a lovely view our arrival night; they drove us to and from the train station to avoid having to find parking on our Cinque Terra day trip; and they loaded us up with extra homemade goodies and water for our travel. The location is tucked away and quiet but not too far from town. It made for an easy and peaceful stay when visiting the coast. "Locanda Valeria is a really lovely and hidden away place. Here are some things to note to manage expectations:
You should only stay at this place if you lan on having a car and driving. Otherwise you will have to either walk down to train (which takes over an hour) or hire a cab company.
The roads are very narrow.
The breakfasts were lovely and plentiful and the rooms are beautifully restored and very, very clean. Would stay here again."
"Accommodation was central, clean and well maintained. Martina provided great communication and check in. There is no parking but we parked at Europa Car Park which cost us 18 Euro per day, it was more secure and better maintained then the train station parking lot.
The room was just like the photos, and we could walk across the road for dinner/breakfast, great location!
Thank you!"
"Family stay in this hotel in the beautiful jewel of Viareggio. Hotel is perfectly situated on the beachfront and the staff from reception to dining and housekeeping are all very friendly and helpful and professional. The hotel is very good for families stopping in Viareggio. We had a very good stay and will come back. Thank you to all the staff at Hotel.breakfast was an extra surprise"
"It is a good location and an okay property, but it lacks character. The rooms are clean but are very blah! The breakfast was good, but the breakfast area felt like a makeshift location. I was expecting a bit more from a 4 star hotel."
"Very nice property, next to the station, very nice rooms and service. The only thing to keep into consideration is no elevator (which may or may not be an issue) depending on your luggage.
Highly recommended."
