"Appealing inn in village setting. Enjoyed a satisfying and beautifully prepared dinner after a long day on the road and sightseeing, and found our room a quiet and clean and restful retreat. The staff was uniformly excellent and made their American guests feel entirely welcome and at home. There is a side stair and door so you dont have to go through the pub if you dont want. staff all very kind and helpful, showing us the laundry to use in the communal area. surprisingly good soundproofing even if live late night weekend music downstairs. twin mattresses a bit stiff, but not problematic for sleeping. the small kitchenette good for storing/heating leftovers and a drink."
