"Property was in a great location for the area. However, it was not well kept (neither was it recently renovated), it was untidy when we arrived (including damp towels on the radiators) and not as clean as we would have expected. The bathroom was very dark (black tiles) and contained no soap other than a half used cake (all the liquid soap dispensers were empty). Sheets were well worn and, we suspect, had been poorly washed and aired before we arrived - as a result, we went out and purchased new...

"JJ and Colman were excellent hosts. Great view of the beach, beds comfortable, kitchen well done. Over all inviting and comfortable. Restaurant across the street. Would stay again! "

"The house was very spacious and had beautiful views. It was about a 10 minute drive into town. We had 2 young children with us and there was plenty to keep them occupied. They loved the trampoline and the game shed with a ping-pong and foosball table. However, the house was not very clean. It had a musty smell, and the sheets and pillows in most of the rooms smelled musty too. One of the bedrooms had wet carpet and smelled so bad that no one could sleep in it. Since there is no air conditioning...

"This is a very spacious and beautifully decorated home with a wonderful view of the river. It is very close to the town of Kinsale. The home is updated and had all the amenities we needed. We would definitely come back here again."

"Very good location for walking to town. Parking can be tricky but we were able to find a spot nearby. The house is actually more updated than the photos show. The kitchen is great, the beds are good too. The bedroom are small since the closets take up a lot of space but the main area provides great gathering space. There is not any aircon and there was a bit of an Irish heat wave so a few fans would have been nice. I guess usually this is not a problem.Overall a great stay."

"Beautiful setting for the property. Out away from town but just a 15-20 minute ride to Kinsale for eating, shopping, etc. Plenty of room for large crowds and lots of outdoor activities."

"The place was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The host checked in with us which was appreciated. We would definitely love to stay again it is a great base to access all that Lismore and surrounding areas have to offer."
