The gift shop was not what we imagined it to be but we did purchase a shirt from it. The hotel was cute and had a few things referencing Mardi Gra which I thought was cool. We didn’t have a long stay but we did enjoy ourselves. The casino was nice and we ate at the French Quarter which was one of the restaurants in the casino. The pricing on the food special for two wasn’t bad but the food itself could have been way better but the staff there was great and very attentive and pleasant especially for being short staffed that night. The breakfast in the lobby the next morning was good and a lot to choose from. If I was given an opportunity to stay again I would and would try one of the other restaurants in the casino and would try to stay a bit longer. "

"The room had not been cleaned except the trash had been taken out. We had to request clean sheets, an ice bucket, and a coffee maker (this we never received.) The room smelled, the floors were sticky, there was a used razor in the bathtub/shower. We had to put our own toliet paper on the empty roll. We would have left but there were no available rooms in the area due to a local tournament. We went to breakfast at 8am and there were two mini bagels, four pieces of bread, one chocolate muffin, water, and coffee that was not good. "
