"Antico Borgo Petralia is a truly magical place to relax and unwind. It’s set in lush gardens filled with butterflies and has stunning views of Mount Etna.
The beauty of the surroundings is only rivalled by the incredible host family and the whole team. From the moment you arrive, they welcome you as if you are part of their family. Their kindness and genuine care are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. They seem to anticipate your every need and effortlessly solve any little issue, before you even realise they exist, making your stay completely stress-free.
Our room was spotless, comfortable and had a stunning view towards Etna. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruits from the garden and homemade treats. Optional home-cooked dinners were authentic and among the best meals we enjoyed in Sicily.
Having a car is recommended, and with one the location is ideal—around 45 minutes from Catania Airport and perfectly placed for exploring Mount Etna, the surrounding countryside, Taormina and the east coast of Sicily.
The atmosphere throughout the property is wonderfully peaceful. We genuinely found it hard to leave, would return in a heartbeat and cannot recommend it highly enough."
