Casa Alexandra is just steps from shops, restaurants, and historic attractions. This bright, charming home features two beautiful bedrooms, a cozy basement with a convertible bed, a spacious bathroom, and stunning city views from both the lounge and rooftop terrace. Thoughtfully decorated and fully equipped with modern amenities, it’s the perfect retreat for exploring Cartagena.
As you enter, you’ll be welcomed into a bright and inviting lounge with large, sun-filled windows that overlook one of Cartagena’s most iconic streets. With stylish seating, abundant natural light, and a relaxing atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
From the lounge, a beautifully decorated hallway leads you further into the home. The hallway features unique touches, including an electric piano and handcrafted local art.
Next, you’ll find the cozy blue bedroom. This room includes a comfortable double bed, a large wardrobe for your belongings, and a large window for natural light and fresh air.
Continuing down the hallway, you’ll arrive at the fully equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances, cooking utensils, and a DeLonghi espresso machine for coffee enthusiasts. Whether you’re preparing a quick breakfast or a full meal, this space is designed to meet all your culinary needs. Beyond the kitchen, there’s an enclosed patio with a small seating area, plants, and a laundry/utility room, which houses a washer, an iron, and an ironing board for added convenience.
The master bedroom is a tranquil haven featuring a plush king-size bed, a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and a flat-screen TV for cozy evenings in.
The spacious bathroom offers dual sinks, a separate shower, a luxurious bathtub, and a window for ventilation. We provide towels, shower toiletries, a heated towel bar, and a hairdryer for your convenience.
For additional space and entertainment, Casa Alexandra includes a unique basement. This versatile area features a convertible bed, a second Smart TV, a chest of drawers, a guitar, game consoles, board games, and an exposed brick wall that adds character to the space. It’s an excellent spot for family fun or additional guests.
Located on the second floor of a charming, historic building (please note, there is no elevator), Casa Alexandra offers a unique blend of modern comfort and timeless character. The apartment itself has been thoughtfully renovated and fully equipped to ensure a relaxing and memorable stay, while the communal areas of the building retain their original features, reflecting the property’s 100+ year history and offering guests an authentic local experience.
Finally, the communal rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the city center in the front and historic ruins in the back. This terrace is the perfect place to put your feet up and soak in the sun or take in the lively street festivities below.

Guest access:
Our guests will receive a set of keys granting access to the building, apartment, and rooftop terrace. They will have private access to all areas of the house, as well as shared access to the communal rooftop terrace. However, we kindly request that guests refrain from opening any locked cabinets or doors designated for storage.
Other things to note:
The property is located on the second floor and does not have an elevator. Guests are welcome to use the communal rooftop terrace, but we kindly ask that it is treated with respect as a shared space.
For safety and peace of mind, an exterior security camera is installed outside the entrance door. It faces the entryway and part of the communal staircase, and is solely used for security purposes. The camera complies with Spanish data protection laws and has been approved by the building’s community.
We want you to have the best possible stay. If you have any questions, concerns, or issues during your visit, please don’t hesitate to contact us right away. We’re always happy to help and resolve any matters quickly. Your comfort is our priority.
Please note that we cannot address or resolve issues after check-out, so we kindly ask guests to reach out while they are still staying with us.
Check-in is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee early check-ins or late check-outs, however we will always do our best to accommodate requests when possible.
House Rules:
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment. Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor spaces, and all waste must be disposed of properly.
No pets are allowed on the property.
Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM to respect neighbors and maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
Please ensure all doors and windows are securely closed when leaving the property.
No extra guests are allowed without prior approval.
