The hotel room was impeccably clean and the hotel was staffed with fabulous personnel, but the modern ambiance added to its charm. The breakfast included was simply amazing, making my stay even more delightful.

GREAT STAY AT HOTEL BARLOVENTO

Our stayed was EXCELLENT! The location was great. The hotel was very clean and smelled so refreshing……Close by the beach. Lots of restaurants and shops near the hotel Barlovento. The area is very safe. We walked late at night and felt safe. The breakfast was good. All the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a wonderful hotel, quiet and comfortable I was very pleased with my stay. The staff was helpful, kind and competent. The room was perfect. Good attention to detail and superior service. Well-located, good breakfast and nice pool. Highly recommend.

This is the perfect hotel if you just want to chill with minimal noise. It’s a short drive from the clock tower and it is near Getsemani/Centro. It is very easy to grab a taxi, and there is also a souvenir outlet nearby. Not to mention the abundant amount of restaurants walking distance. The only downsides are the room ventilation is poor. The room/bathroom can get very humid, so the ac has to be on constantly.

This is at the safe area of Cartagena. Everything is within reached walking. I suggest the hotel will provide face cloth, flat iron/ironing board. Also, it will be beneficial if they will have career development for the staff to send them to English Language course. Overall, this hotel has earned me 5 stars.

The staff was very attentive to us. I picked this hotel specifically because it was super close to the beach, we basically had the whole pool to ourselves most of the time and we walked everyday to and from the hotel for shopping or eating. What I believe they should have is iron and hair dryer in the rooms. However i sent for some clothes to get washed and they were delivered cleaned the next day! I will definitely come back and stay here instead of a resort. Thank you Barlovento!

Our reservation was cancelled without them even informing us. We got to the front desk and they tried to say we had cancelled the reservation which is not true. It was later confirmed to me by expedia the hotel cancelled for no reason. Very inconvenient and unacceptable.
