"The house was great! Very well equipped. Lovely view from the house and deck. I was worried the boys would get hot in the loft, but they were completely comfortable. The hill to the river is very steep. We brought a side by side but after some rain, it wasn't usable. I wouldn't recommend expecting to walk or carry items down to the river. Nearby Van Buren, Big Spring, and the Deer lake area were great. We missed the farmer's market in VB saturday morning due to rain, that that afternoon they had a food truck festival that looked like it also had live music and crafts / vendors. Highly recommend the Ranch House for coffee, food, and ice cream!"
