"The property is just what you would expect nestled on a ridge overlooking the Mississippi River. There were a few dead bugs inside, but (as someone who lives in the MidSouth) that is to be expected in the summer. The owner obviously took steps to prevent live bugs and spiders inside. Lots of room to spread out. The views are incredible! We enjoyed our stay overall."

"The owner helped us by being flexible and accommodating. We got a day of reservation and there was a problem with the booking. He was quick to respond and fixed the issue right away. We were in town saying goodbye to a family member and the services got moved around several times. With a 2 and a 4 year old needing a nap and a place to hang, we were able to extend our check out for a small fee. Will stay again this summer!"

"I grew up in Carthage and occasionally return to see family. The house was quiet, comfortable and well-equipped. It is within walking distance to anything that you would need in the area as far as groceries, restaurants, etc. This will be our number one choice for future visits to the area."
