"The staff are really great. Overall we had a nice stay. The location is near the highway and local restaurants. Breakfast is cold cereal, yogurt, fruit and toaster waffles but the coffee was fresh and strong. Perfect choice for a safe and affordable place to stay for the night while traveling. The temperature was 105 degrees outside and the air conditioning worked beautifully. Also they are pet friendly."

"Beautiful resort! We love the pool and staff keep everything exceptionally clean. The only caution would be skip the buffet on Mondays. I enjoyed the soft serve ice cream and frog legs, but otherwise limited."

"My family and I love this motel! It is on old Route 66 and they have kept the decor classic! The owners/staff ate incredibly nice! It's outside of the town and quiet. We can't wait to stay here again!"

"Michael's place was fantastic! Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Michael was a great host, friendly, responsive, and made the whole stay easy and enjoyable. The location was convenient, and we felt right at home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Michael's place to anyone looking for a great stay in Carthage!"
