"Beautiful property, magnificent lake views from all bedrooms. Excellent location, easy walking distance to restaurants, a main attraction historic Villa, and the ferry. Owner took her time explaining how to get to each attraction, best bakery, recommended restaurants which lived up to the hype, happily arranged water taxi, and was responsive when we had additional questions throughout our stay. Loved it all!"

"Brilliant stay, lovely property which was clean and modern. It would have been good to understand the pool would be closed until 1st june in advance. The stairs were also quite steep for elderly relatives. Only small things!"

You arrive to open a large garage (had mid size SUV that easily fit) and inside is the private elevator to take you to 3 floor. Floor 0 - very clean garage. "We had the most incredible week with our family of 7 adults at Francesco’s Villa La Ruga directly on Lake Como. We enjoyed so many things about the house including morning coffee on the patio, evening bocce tournaments, a wonderful dinner cooked by Chef Umberto, a wonderful boat tour of Lake Como with Francesco, and much more. Francesco is an incredible host. He even provided some groceries to start our week along with pastries on the first morning. Wonderful!"
