"Small family-owned inn located in center of Civitella in Val di Chiana. Room was comfortable and included all we needed. It was cold upon check-in which the co-owner tried to remedy with a space heater. It took a while. The room warmed up after the first night. The other co-owner kindly offered me our first night complimentary. (Thank you again.). The kitchen is well appointed with a well stocked wine rack. Read through the reviews, they are accurate! Comfortable bedding, lovely surroundings and, oh yes, a wonderful bakery across the street. "Property is stunning. Small medieval village with an awesome pool in the hills of Tuscany. As for the rooms, you are camping in a medieval village. Expedia claims A/C, but we did not have. the rooms that have A/C are only portable units. A little tough when it is a hot August in Tuscany. The beds are horrible. Again you are camping in a medieval village. Location is very remote from other Tuscany towns. That being said, it is a beautiful place to camp in a medieval village. "

"Gianfranco is a superb host, he was waiting for us on arrival and gave us a guided tour of the property to make sure we were familiar with everything. A very kind man who provided a welcome basket of his own Olive oil and local wine. The property is excellent, the location and views superb and everything a group wanting to relax in Tuscany could ask for.
