"Our group of 4 adults had a great stay at this property. While it was a tad tricky to find, Telma helped us through that and warmly greeted us at her charming property. After a quick tour and a few tips she left us with a fresh loaf of bread, some cheese, bottle of her local favorite wine and some pastries. The property was seemingly in the middle of nowhere with views over the local fields but in reality was only a few minutes from the autoroute making it a great base for exploring the area. The garden caught the afternoon sun and was wonderful to come back and relax in after a busy day of sightseeing. If I were to "complain" about anything it would be the beds but they were as advertised. There was one queen size bed and two full size beds. The full size beds were a bit of a squeeze for two people so one couple ended up sleeping in separate beds....but this was a small issue in the long run. The kitchen was well equipped so that we could cook when we wanted but there were also plenty of suggestions available for local restaurants if needed. Telma and her mother seem to have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We would highly recommend this property to fellow travelers."

"We stayed at Albertina's house for 8 days in the middle of a very hot spell in August. The house is beautiful and absolutely immaculately clean. The swimming pool is great and grounds are huge -you have total privacy and quiet for your stay. If you are looking for a place to chill and relax this is it! Most importantly for this stay there was amazing air conditioning in all bedrooms and the living room which meant we were very comfortable even on the day it reached 43 C outside! Albertina is very caring and attentive host. She greeted us warmly and sent regular texts to insure everything was okay. When I was having problems understanding a couple of things the local housekeeper came up right away to help out which was great! We wanted to totally switch of and decided to go without a car as the village is a five minute walk away and we had bikes at our disposal to explore. We also used the services of two local taxi drivers recommended by Albertina both of whom were excellent. The shop has one little supermarket which had daily deliveries and there are bakers and fishsellers who can call at the house. If you want to explore Ribatejo though you will want a car as this is a very rural area. Thank you so much for our very relaxing stay! We all enjoyed it so much and felt refreshed."

"Our party of 10 were thrilled to stay in this pretty, super-clean and spacious property. We were humbly welcomed by the owner, Joao, who is a total gentleman and only wanted the best for our stay. Nothing was too much trouble to ask from him and his nephews. The property has wonderfully peaceful surroundings, a beautifully tended garden and veg plot (by the lovely & cherry Deolinda) and a good sized inviting pool. The kids enjoyed all the nooks and crannies to explore the sprawling landscape as well as the use of the pool toys/floats/noodles. Not forgetting the Dogs, Spike and Brownie - oh how they were doted on and cuddled, daily. They are kenneled and looked after by carers but you can release them if you are dog lovers. The kitchen has everything you could want for and is fully equipped. It was the heart of the home, for us. We made full use of that as we were entirely self catering although there are a couple of eateries in the local village as well as a little shop that has all the basics you might need including a butcher, fresh rolls and groceries. The rooms were cool and comfortable to sleep with the option of air con and/or extra blankets if you needed them. Towels are provided plus pool towels which helps reduce weight in your baggage. Plus. With the access to a washing machine, you can clean your clothes throughout your stay; again, reducing your packing of many clothes! Asked if we would choose this property again? ABSOLUTELY YES!"
