"Friendly staff we let at breakfast"

"Wow! What a little jewel this place turned out to be. Large, clean, beautiful, low-cost room. First, this is a very different cost-effective hotel experience. There is no 'front desk', and no staff save for a couple of cleaning folks you may or may not see. You enter the main front door using a code on a keypad, and you don't have a room key - you get a numeric combination for the combo lock on your door. "Really charming old hotel with completely updated rooms and bathrooms. Right in the middle town, next to the main Cathedral. Great staff. Excellent food recommendations. Charming stay."

"Owner/employee was great and flexible. I had a very late check-in and had missed a message or two. Overall friendly and happy experience."

No breakfast is included and there is no coffee machine in the room. While there are phone contacts available, there is no physical presence of any staff (except for cleaning), and entrance and exit are all done digitally. There are no outdoor chairs or lobby area, so no opportunity to mingle with other guests. This is acceptable for a short stay,...

"Clean, easy check-in. Great location with fantastic scenic drive way from the city buzz. Nice bathroom with shower pressure. We really enjoyed the rest here during our road trip."
