"The hotel was in a fabulous setting in an old monastery. Notwithstanding its age, it had been modernised sympathetically and had the benefit of historical features with the comforts of modern age. We have stayed with Parador hotels before in Salamanca and feel they offer great value for money."

The views across the valley were lovely. There was an issue over payment which was resolved very quickly and professionally. We had a good (included) breakfast but did not eat supper here as we were too hungry to wait for 9pm when they opened."
