The staff lied to us regarding food, we had traveled around 200 miles and arrived around 16:30, we was tired and hungry, they said that the kitchen was closed today and there was no staff, very poor for a hotel this size. We then had to travel into Toledo to find food for the evening meal, we had travelled enough but we had to or we wouldn’t get any food. "I had always wanted to try a Parador. This one was excellent. Staff were very helpful. Food and drinks were great. The pool was sparkling and with a lifeguard. They have an ironing service since irons aren’t provided in the rooms. Our room had views over the old city of Toledo which there deck is famous for. A short taxi (exciting) ride into the old town.
