Peace Mountain Lodge is ideal for a family vacation or multi-families. Each of the 5 well furnished bedrooms has its own full bathroom. Enjoy your own suite should you want to get away for peace and quiet. The Large Kitchen/Dining/Living Room spans the main floor level and is large enough to entertain more than the 10 people that sleep at the house. Downstairs the large bar area with sound system and one of 7 flat screen HD televisions is also a great place to entertain. High Speed Internet and free WiFi are available throughout the home if you wish to stay connected to the outside world, along with landline telephones with free long distance.
The amazing wood-filled interior and decks remind you of the cabin feel in the size and comfort of a great lodge, but a private home for you and your family/friends.
The panoramic mountain views from the two covered decks are spectacular, enjoy all of the changes nature brings from these decks. Relax, or dine outside with plenty of deck furnishings. Grill up a great meal on the back deck barbecue grill.
Every season offers a different experience. Spring is vibrant and stunning as everything blossoms and turns green. Summer is cool and refreshing, seldom getting warmer than 80 degrees during the day, about 60 degrees at night. Enjoy the beauty of the mountains as the leaves change in Fall. Winter usually delivers several dustings of Snow which accumulates to about 4 - 6 inches. Nearby brooks babble through the night during and after rainy days. Nearby hiking trails traverse streams, enjoy the water view as the streams cascade down slick rock covered creek beds.

The main level of this beautiful mountain home offers an open dining/living area with a stone wood burning fireplace, 65 inch Ultra HD Flatscreen TV, and guest half bath. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Enjoy the wonderful covered deck w/ panoramic Mountain views. The King Master bedroom suite is also located on the main level and offers a private bath with a Jacuzzi tub and flat screen television.
The upper level offers two King size bedroom suites, all with private baths and HD flatscreen TVs. The lower level offers a second living area with a stone fireplace, a wet bar w/ small refrigerator, double full sink, dishwasher for bar glasses, an area perfect for entertaining, stereo sound system, plus an additional covered deck area outdoors. The lower level also offers two King sized bedroom suites, private bathrooms and flatscreen HD TVs.
This great home is located 2 miles east from the center of Cashiers, NC. Lots of wilderness to explore, house is adjacent to the High Hampton preserve. Cashiers is also located within driving distance of Asheville, NC and the Biltmore Estate. Also close easy access to Gorges State Park, Nantahala National Forest, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Waterfalls, Lakes, Boat Rentals, Fishing, Hiking, Whitewater rafting, Shopping, Golf, and so much more!
Favorite places to visit include: Whitewater Falls and Lake Glenville for more waterfalls, beach, and boating with rentals available at Signal Ridge Marina.
Horseback riding, hiking, boating are all located in the area and while we do have a full washer and dryer in the home, there are also laundromats in nearby Franklin, Highlands, and Cullowee if desired.

-Cancellations: A 120 day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations made less than 120 days prior to the reserved date forfeit the damage/reservation deposit. Cancellations less than 90 days prior to reserved date 50% of advance payment, less than 30 day prior to date cancellations no refund. However alt dates can be provided.
