"Absolutely unique place, which is hard to find anywhere else. It has everything needed for cooking in the kitchen or bbq’ing on the terrace, and the setting within an old castle complex and in the midst of mountainous nature is just awesome. We had a great time here, even though it was unfortunately very short for us. "

"The fresh mountain air, the lovely house with terrace overviewing the valley. The swimming pool surrounded with chill beds... it was perfect for us."

"Ein sehr schönes und kleines Haus. Das Haus liegt in einem Bergdorf sehr ruhig und romantisch. Meine Frau und ich haben den Aufentahlt sehr genossen. Allerdings gibt es auch noch etwas negatives zu Bemerken. Die Terrasse ist auf den Bilder mit zwei großen Pavillions versehen. Die gibt es leider nicht mehr. Anstatt dieser gibt es nur einen Ampel-&Schwenkschirm, der fast keinen Schatten spendet. Eib grpßer Buchungsgrund waren auch die großen Pavillons. Die Terrasse ist nur übder die Haustüre zu...

"Host was very responsive. We were able to drop our bags before check in so we could explore the city. There were only about 10 steps to top of apartment which was neat and clean. The air conditioning worked very well too. Easy 8 minute walk to train."

"Paolo’s property was perfect for me and my family. It is clean, spacious and very well presented. It is a perfect location for exploring the Garfagnana region and close to plenty of local amenities. "Fabrizio's house is magnificent. Typical and surrounded by olive trees, it is also beautifully decorated down to the last detail and perfectly equipped. Our host was extremely kind and attentive to our needs whenever we asked, and at the same time very discreet. We arrived relatively late, but he had done some shopping for us so we could have dinner and had even set the table! Fabrizio also gave us invaluable advice on places to visit in Tuscany apart from the main sites that we naturally think...

"The property exudes charm. Although the view from the first floor is impressive, it's partially obstructed by trees. The pool, a significant asset, is generously sized. Regrettably, the kitchen fan was dysfunctional, making cooking an unpleasant task. We also faced issues with the fuses for the washing machine. Our check-in experience was hampered by a language barrier. The attendant spoke no English, and our attempts in German proved futile. Consequently, check-in became a comical mix of hand...

The drive up to the house is quite adventurous with many serpentines to drive. So, you better do your shopping before you drive up to the house. But we liked it very much.
