"Upon arrival I was asked for a credit card for a deposit, I handed her my apple card. She told me they did not take apple card, even though the hotels website says nothing about that and there are no signs posted anywhere around checkin stating that. I’ve used my apple card for that purpose at every hotel Ive checked into over the last 4-ish years and never had a problem. Upon entering our room my husband tripped over a small dehumidifier that was left right alongside the bed. Fortunately he landed on the bed and not the floor. Apart from that the room was in decent shape, although there was dust caked on lamps and light fixtures, the other surfaces (counters, desk), bedding and carpet appeared clean. The water pressure was decent, beds were soft and lots of pillows. AC worked great. Breakfast was actually really great for a hotel, lots of variety including yogurt parfaits. Not sure I would go back for that though. "

"This place was absolutely enchanting! The cabin is the perfect waterfront setup for avid fishermen and naturalists. The host “Coach” is one of a kind and will set you up with everything you need. His hospitality and knowledge of the area is unmatched. I just left yesterday and I already miss this place. Can’t wait to go back!! "

"The beds were really soft, slept really good, the rooms were really clean, the breakfast was extraordinary and the staff were all so very friendly. I plan on making this my go to place when I go to Texarkana in the future"

"Attendant at the front desk did not understand English well. Outside of hotel there was a lot of trash in the parking lot. The grass was uncut and high. I will not stay there again."
